Fairgrounds Summer Showdown announced

Officials from the Winneshiek Raceway in Decorah, Iowa, and Fayette County Speedway in West Union, Iowa, will be partnering with a season points fund featuring more than $10,000 in payouts for the top 10 points earners in the USRA Stock Cars, USRA B-Mods and USRA Hobby Stocks.

USRA Stock Cars – 1. $1000, 2. $700, 3. $600, 4. $500, 5. $400, 6. $300, 7. $250, 8. $230, 9. $210, 10. $200.

USRA B-Mods – 1. $750, 2. $600, 3. $500, 4. $450, 5. $375, 6. $250, 7. $225, 8. $190, 9. $170, 10. $150.

USRA Hobby Stocks – 1. $500, 2. $400, 3. $350, 4. $275, 5. $225, 6. $200, 7. $150, 8. $140, 9. $130, 10. $125.

There is no entry fee but drivers must 80% of the weekly track points nights at both racetracks. These bonus payouts are on top of the already-stellar Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series track points funds.

Also, any driver who competes in 80% of the USRA Stock Car weekly points races at both tracks will be put into drawing at our end-of-year awards banquet for a new bare stock car chassis from Rage Chassis in West Union. Special thanks to No Limit Diesel & Auto too for making this possible

The USRA Tuner and 600 Mod-Lite points funds will be announced at a later date.

Remember, both Winneshiek Raceway and Fayette County Speedway are home of $5 grandstand admission and $25 pit passes.
